Terms of use (draft)
Draft started October 30, 2026. Not approved. Not a contract.
What a finished version would cover
A published terms page would cover use of the marketing site at stationglance.com and, in a separate section or agreement, use of the StationGlance application at app.stationglance.com.
The product, as described today
StationGlance is a cloud-managed station display for fire and EMS. Public pages describe rosters, messages, pre-configured kits, and the security controls listed on the security page. Those pages are product descriptions, not a warranty and not a service agreement.
For counsel: kit pricing is intentionally absent until a hardware quote is final. Do not add a price, a service level, or an uptime figure unless the company is ready to commit to it.
Accounts
Admin access uses MFA. Agency staff sign-in with Microsoft 365 and Microsoft Entra accounts is described as coming soon. It is not available yet.
For counsel: write the account terms, including who at an agency may administer users, before agencies are invited into the application.
Acceptable use, warranties, and liability
For counsel: add acceptable use, warranty language, a limitation of liability, and indemnity only if you want them. Nothing in this draft is a disclaimer in effect. A suggested starting point for governing law is Ohio, because the company is in Akron. That choice is not decided.
Hardware kits
For counsel: add shipping, title, risk of loss, warranty, and what "confirm receipt" means in the contract. The public site only says the kit activates when an agency admin confirms receipt.
